Destination Ahimsa

The Ahimsa route is the way that our spiritual side has always wanted to go, but our ego has never given him permission to do it.

It's a way we are going to walk using our bodies to feed our souls .

In every step we will try to answering some deep questions, we have not been able to find it, because of the speed and pressure of our society.

What is Ahimsa ?

Ahimsa is a Sanskrit term that refers to a philosophical concept which advocates non-violence and respect for life. Usually interpreted as a symbol of peace and respect for sentient beings .

Ahimsa is an important doctrine of Buddhism , Hinduism and Jainism. The first appearance of this term in the context of Indian philosophy is found in Hindu scriptures called the Upanishads , which began to be composed over several centuries from the V century B.C. onwards.

Mahatma Gandhi introduced the concept of ahimsa in the West. Subsequently , Western movements for civil rights led by Martin Luther King Jr. and others , were influenced by this concept, and made ​​war protests that rejected violence .

The ideology of Gandhi on the life and non-violence , which led to his concept of satiagraja , or peaceful protest , originally comes from its association with the Hindu and Jain philosophy .
He says:
"Nonviolence is the greatest force at the disposal of humanity . It's more effective than the most effective weapon of destruction that has managed the man."

Literally Ahimsa means non-violence to life , but it has also another meanings . It also means that one can not offend another person , having compassion on the other, even if it's an enemy.

For those who follow this doctrine , There is no enemies.

Ahimsa or non-violence , of course, involves not kill. But nonviolence applies not only to kill, but Ahimsa implies an absolute abstinence from causing any physical or emotional pain to any living creature , either by thoughts, words or actions.

Nonviolence requires a mind , a mouth, and a peaceful hands.
